Ticket Policies

Ticket Purchase: Tickets may be purchased in person at our Box Office at 1020 N Howard or by phone at 509-325-2507 during regularly scheduled hours. Tickets may also be purchased through TicketsWest online, by phone, or at one of their ticket offices. Tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase. While it is our goal to honor your seating request, we cannot guarantee exact seat placement. Tickets are issued on a first come first served basis. We will place you as close to your request as possible.

All phone and mail order tickets will be held at will call, unless the patron provides a self-addressed stamped envelope. On-line tickets will be printed the day of the performance and held at will call. Please bring your on-line receipt showing your account number in case of ticketing issues.

Tickets are priced by age category. Students are 5 - 25 years of age, Seniors are 65 years and older, and all others are Adults. Children under the age of 5 are not admitted to performances.

Members:  Purchase of a Season Subscription or Donor Membership does not guarantee a seat at any given show or run of a show.  Season Subscribers and Donor Members are issued coupons which must be redeemed for a ticket.  Coupons are sold at a significant discount, and subscribers and members are allowed to redeem them several days before tickets go on sale to the general public.  Redemption of the coupon for a specific seat for a specific show may be done in person or by phone at the box office, during regular hours, or by mail.  It is recommended that coupons for a given show be redeemed as early as possible.  The appropriate coupon must be surrendered in order to receive the ticket.  The coupon should be checked carefully to be sure that it is the correct one. 
Once tickets are made available to the general public, shows and entire runs of shows are subject to being sold out.  In the event of a sell-out, subscribers and members will be given priority placement on the wait list for their first choice of any show in the run.  Placement on the wait list does not guarantee  a seat for that show, just first option to use the coupon(s) toward any seats that become available.
 Any unredeemed coupons may be used for a show of equal or lesser value during the season.  Toward the end of the season, Spokane Civic Theatre may, at its discretion, allow Season Subscribers to redeem two lesser-value coupons or one lesser-value coupon, plus an additional amount, for a higher-value show in order to use up their coupons before they expire.

All tickets sales are final and no refunds will be issued for tickets not used.

Exchanges: If you are unable to attend the show you purchased for, you may request an exchange in person or by phone.  All exchanges must be made prior to the date printed on the tickets for another performance of the same production.  Exchanged tickets will be held at will call until original tickets are received. Please let us know if original tickets are already held in will call.

Rain Checks: If you cannot attend the show on a paid ticket, a rain check may be requested from the Box Office Coordinator within one week of the missed show. Original tickets must be either returned to or held by the Box Office prior to issuing the rain check. You will need to provide your name, address and phone number. Rain checks will not be issued for membership tickets (your coupon will be returned), complementary tickets or for special events outside the regular season.

A rain check can only be redeemed for a show of like-( Adult Main Stage Musical for Adult Main Stage Musical, etc.) or lesser-value (Adult Main Stage Musical for Senior Main Stage Music or Adult Main Stage Play, etc.). The rain check can be redeemed for a specific show by phone, mail, or in person. The rain check must be returned to the Box Office prior to receiving your new tickets. Rain checks expire at the end of the season or the end of the next like show, whichever comes later.

Tax Donations: Unused tickets may be donated to the Theatre for a tax credit if released prior to the date and time on the tickets. Donated tickets may not be exchanged or rain checked. Tickets must be returned to the Box Office before a tax letter is issued.

Sold out show: In case of a sold out show, a waiting list will be started one hour prior to curtain for that show only.   Those on the waiting list must be present in the vestibule when tickets are released, beginning 15 minutes prior to curtain. Released tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis to those on the waiting list. PLEASE NOTE: Member and Complimentary Tickets not picked up by 10 minutes to curtain time may be released for sale.

Cancellation: If a performance is cancelled, you may exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production, request a rain check, or donate the ticket for a tax credit.

Content: Spokane Civic Theatre will attempt to provide adequate warning regarding adult content; however, we will not refund tickets based on dislike of content or audience interpretation.
