Civic Hiring Part-time Music DirectorNational Award-Winning Spokane Civic Theatre is hiring a part-time Music Director to begin in early March with our Main Stage production of Annie Get Your Gun.
Primary responsibilities include: serving the theatre as Music Director, accompanist and conductor of Main Stage and Studio musicals, fundraisers and Academy camps and classes. Secondary duties include: contracting of orchestras, overseeing basic sound operations, teaching group or private lessons on site in voice and/or piano.
Bachelors or Masters degree preferred. Three to five years of previous experience preferred. Ability in sound and sound operations a plus.
***Potential to lead to salaried full-time with benefits within a year.***
Remuneration: Hourly - approximately 20-25 hours per week. Evenings and weekends required.
