Cast/Crew

Sarah Doughty

is excited to join the Civic for the first time. She started dancing ten years ago at the Arthur Murray Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she performed in four studio showcases. Sarah started teaching for the University of Idaho Wellness Program in 2006 and the Dance Department in 2007. She competed with her professional partner, and husband, at the 2008 National Amateur DanceSport Competition. Sarah also taught dance workshops for the International Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. Currently, she teaches for Dance Street Ballroom in Spokane. She lives by the philosophy “there are short cuts to happiness, and dancing is one of them”.
