SECONDARY DRAMA

Musical Theatre Camp
When: June 16 – 27
             (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Grade Level: Entering 6 – 10
Instructors: Jean Hardie
Tuition = $275
 
This two-week camp is designed to develop, improve and display the theatrical skills and talents of the campers with a major emphasis on musical theatre. Classes and workshop topics include solo and group singing, vocal production, diction and enunciation, dance and stage movement, improvisation and stage combat.

At the end of the two weeks, the campers will perform in a full-length (90 minute) musical revue.

Drama Camp
When: July 7 – 18
             (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Grade Level: Entering 7 – 12
Instructor: Tom Armitage (Ruben Van Kempen Arts Educator Award recipient)
Tuition = $275

In this two-week session, the emphasis is on developing and improving skills in such areas as characterization, script analysis, voice and diction, and acting styles, as well as improvisation and stage combat.

At the end of the two weeks, campers will present an evening of theatre designed to display the dramatic and comedic talents of the campers.

Performance Camp
When: July 21 – August 8
             (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Audition: Sunday, May 11.  New campers at 5:00 P.M.
Returning at 7:00 P.M.

Grade Level:  Ages 13 - 18 (Audition Only )

Tuition = $350
Performances: August 7,8,9,13,14,15 at 7:00 P.M. on the Mainstage. 

This audition-only camp is designed to build on and display the talents of campers in a fully-produced Main Stage production. This summer's edition, Withercraft Manor. Written and Directed by Jean Hardie.  Music Direction by Cody Wymore.

Is Withercraft Manor just a spooky old house in the country or could it truly be haunted?  Who will be brave enough to stay and unravel its secrets?  Hold onto your seats as our intrepid band of sleuths sing and dance their way into danger in this spine-tingling musical journey.

 
Each and every camper is guaranteed to shine in this original production which will run for two full weekends.
