Spokane Civic Theatre Spring Academy

Spring Session - April 14 - June 6

It’s time to get ready for Spokane Civic Theatre’s Spring Academy program!

Civic will once again offer classes for students of all ages whether part of the Pre-K Creative Drama, Acting 101 Early Stage, Theatre Magic: Second Stage, or the upper level From Script to Stage classes your child will learn fundamental life skills through the art of theatre.

Classes begin in April and run until June. Keep those schedules open and get ready! Classes filled up quickly last winter and they’re looking more popular than ever.

Elementary Classes
(Entering Grades 3 - 6)

Begin the journey to the spotlight by introducing your child to the stage! Children's classes focus on building confidence and learning to interact with others by using theatre games and beginning acting techniques.

Teen Classes (Entering Grades 6 - 12)
Whether a veteran of the stage, or if you are stepping foot in the spotlight for the first time, the Teen and Adult Classes will refine and enhance your theatre techniques. Choose from numerous classes to build your skills.

Box ‘n’ Hat Players
Since 1985, Box 'n' Hat Players has served as a springboard for the vocal, dance, and dramatic talents of the city's best young performers.


Academy Financial Aid Scholarship Fund

At Spokane Civic Theatre, we believe that all children deserve the chance to explore their creative potential. We also realize that for some families, it can be a challenge to provide these opportunities to your children. This is why were are delighted to announce that, thanks to generous funding by Inland Northwest Community Foundation – Community Strategies Grant, we are able to provide scholarships to qualifying families. Just download and print the pdf application, fill it out and send it in with your registration form.
